Environmental Policy
Suppliers
We will endeavour to partner with and source our products from manufacturers and distributors who demonstrate a strong ethical and environmental policy.
Energy
Using low energy lamps, and energy efficient heating in our premises. Using low emissions fuel and energy efficient cars. Monitoring office equipment to ensure that machines are turned off when not in use.
Waste
We reuse packaging from suppliers and recycle all of our waste paper and excess packaging materials. All office sundries are recycled where possible.
Product Recycling
We aim to introduce a scheme where customers who are undertaking refurbishment and restoration projects can bring the used items of Architectural Hardware to Oxford Ironmongery and we will arrange to have them recycled in an environmental and sustainable way.

The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers
Oxford Ironmongery has been accepted as a full member of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers. Having satisfied the invigilator on various conditions including professional competence and depth of stock holding membership was granted on 22nd February 2005. To qualify for membership it is necessary to also agree to abide by the Guild’s Code of Professional Conduct providing assurance to all of Oxford Ironmongerys’ customers that they will receive the highest standard of professional service.
